I believe you are ready for this week's treasures. God has more in store for you, and it’s time to enjoy each moment.
Let's begin with our daily bread.
“Do it Afraid. (Part TWO)”
Someone once said that the journey of a hundred miles begins with a single step.
Last week, the Lord reminded us of His unwavering presence even when fear is present, we can be sure He is there. He encouraged us to "Do it Afraid." Fear is a feeling, but by God's grace, we’ve received the power to go beyond it and do what He has called us to do.
Today, I felt led by the Spirit of God to continue on this theme.
Courage is not a feeling — it is a decision.
You can’t speak of courage without having fear in the equation. Courage is the choice we make every day, even when our reality contradicts the God's promises.
You are called to walk by faith and remain courageous even when your present circumstances don’t reflect the truth of God's Word.
Reality and truth aren’t always the same. But reality can bow to truth — if you choose to believe God over your situation. Both your circumstances and God's Word have voices — but you decide which one leads.
This doesn’t mean you should ignore reality. No. Be aware of it. But choose to believe in the truth; the eternal, unshakable Word of God.
You need courage at every step toward your God-given destiny. And fear? Fear is the enemy’s number one weapon against us.
But the Bible says:
"For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind."
2 Timothy 1:7 (NKJV)
Let us become conscious of Who is in us.
Fear is not our future. May the heavy weight of fear be lifted off your shoulders — in Jesus’ name!
The Bible also says:
As He is, so are we in this world."
1 John 4:17 (b)
Jesus walked this earth fearlessly, filled with courage and boldness. Even in the Garden of Gethsemane, when He was deeply distressed and overwhelmed, He still said:
"Not my will, but Yours be done."
That is courage.
The Scriptures tell us:
"And being in anguish, He prayed more earnestly, and His sweat was like drops of blood falling to the ground.
An angel from heaven appeared to Him and strengthened Him."
Luke 22:43-44 (NIV)
Jesus was afraid. But He still obeyed.
He did it afraid ! And so can you.
So when I say “Do it Afraid,” I really mean: Be courageous.
No one else will live your life for you.
No one else can fulfill what God has uniquely designed for you.
It’s time to rise.
It’s time to shine.
Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you."
– Isaiah 60:1 (NIV)
Stay blessed,
And Do it Afraid.
God is with you.
Believing you were blessed, let's seal all this in prayer!
