Rise Above Your Feelings!

Emotions fade but God's words last forever 

Human beings are meant to feel; we feel deeply, constantly.
But when we lean too much on our feelings, they often lead us down the wrong path, keep us from the right one, or paralyze us altogether.

Yes, God created emotions and the capacity to feel them.
But He never told us to be led by them. He never told us to obey their voice.

My sheep hear My voice, I know them, and they follow Me." John 10:27

Yet how often have we followed the voice of fear, anger, insecurity, or even excitement?
We allowed our feelings to speak over our lives and guide our steps, instead of listening to the only voice that truly matters the voice of Jesus our Master. 

Your feelings will suggest actions, justify thoughts, give you reasons to stop or rush.
But they are unstable because they come and go.
They were never designed to last more than a day.
As long as we entertain and obey the wrong feelings, they become our master and they will control us.

Today, I encourage you: Rise above your feelings.

Let the Word of God become the lamp to your feet and the light on your path.
Let it be the one that tells you what’s next ! not your emotions.

“For we walk by faith, not by sight.”
2 Corinthians 5:7

We’re called to make sound decisions out of grace and faith — not out of emotion.
God wants us to walk with conviction.
Even if we don’t always get it right, moving forward in faith is better than living in uncertainty and double-mindedness.

But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind.” James 1:6

So rise above your feelings, and do what God has called you to do.
Become who He has called you to be.
Don’t obey your emotions follow Jesus.

Let's Pray! 

Heavenly Father,

May your name be hallowed. We thank you for your unconditional love and the sacrifice of your Son, Jesus Christ. Lord Jesus we are grateful for your constant presence in our lives. Father, we want your Help. Your help to walk by faith! Your help to rise above our feelings, your help to become Men and Women of conviction and direction. We pray for your assurance, the one we can only find in you and with you. Holy Spirit, our Helper, we invite you today to strengthen us, to give us the power to walk, run and fly as eagles. We know and believe that Our Heavenly Father is still writing our story. We have faith for the next chapter because we trust the writer.

Thank you LORD
